What wonderful weather we have had this weekend! Most of us love the warm weather, but after a few months into the summer heat, we complain about it.
I was cleaning my flower beds out yesterday, the wind was blowing warm air across my face. I took a deep breath to let the spring air consume me. I gave praise to God for the day.
My thoughts started about winter.... if we hadn't had winter, we wouldn't appreciate spring.
Life is like that too. Because of the hard times, we truly appreciate the easier times.
I pray that I will never take the seasons for granted. I also pray that I will never allow the hard times to defeat me, but that I will try to look past them for the "spring" that I know is around the corner.
