Praise from the heart!

I decided to sing praises to my Lord on the way into town today. As I started into "How Great Thou Art", I noticed my voice isn't what it usually is. It shows the effects of a long day of  teaching; a long day raising my voice to be heard by many students in my classes. I decided I would go ahead and sing  and I would do the very best that I had singing praises to the Lord. And although my voice isn't as good as it has been,  I would give God the very best I had to offer. As I started singing a strong feeling came across my soul. I believe it was the Holy Spirit speaking to me. And it said that God rejoices when His creations sing His praises. He created me and He created my voice. At that moment I felt that God was pleased with my song. I was using the very gift that He gave me, to sing praises to Him. I was right in my heart,  even if only for that moment, by giving my best to praise Him. I was truly wanting to worship Him and think of nothing else. He wants us to praise Him... It doesn't matter if we think our song isn't what it should be.... Praise Him sincerely with a right heart and God will be pleased. Isn't it great to hear our own children tell us what great parents we are? ( that happens occasionally ) That's what God wants from us! Our Praise!!!!
